Accreditations, Guarantees and Requirements

Certification bodies aiming to attain GLOBAL S.L.P. approval must hold accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065, relevant to their specific scope and sub-scope.

For recognition by GLOBAL S.L.P., an accreditation body must also be a proud member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and a signatory of the Multilateral Agreement (MLA) on Product Certification. This signifies that the accreditation body (AB) has undergone a peer evaluation within the realm of product certification, receiving a favorable recommendation in its assessment.

GLOBAL S.L.P. establishes license and certification agreements (LCAs) exclusively with certification bodies that have successfully passed our rigorous internal approval process. These agreements, alongside accreditation, guarantee a consistently high standard of quality and integrit

5 Steps to Becoming a
GLOBAL S.L.P. IFM Approved CB

Step 1
  1. Read the CB requirements in the  IFM General Regulations Part III – especially point 4.1 – and sign up for approval on our  Certification Body Extranet and in our  Certification Body Administration Tool (CB-AT).
Step 2

Apply for accreditation with an Accreditation Body (AB) – see the list of GLOBAL S.L.P. recognized ABs here.

Step 3

Pay the applicable fees when you receive an invoice from the GLOBAL S.L.P. Administrator.

Step 4

Once your application has been approved, your CB will be added to our list of approved certification bodies.

Step 5
All GLOBAL S.L.P. CB farm auditors and CB QMS auditors are required to pass an online test and one In-house Trainer per CB must take part in a compulsory CB Training Workshop. All CB QMS auditors have to attend the GLOBAL S.L.P. QMS Auditor Training. Additionally, the designated Scheme Manager of the CB must take part in a yearly Scheme Manager Update Training (SMU).
